As I don't own any Dreamcast games, I wasn't able to test the functionality of the disc drive. However the console powers on and displays (if you are having trouble, please note that the cables are 3rd party and a bit finicky, so make sure everything is fully inserted and/or readjust them and it should turn on just fine.) I would also like to mention that the internal clock battery appears to be dead and that this purchase doesn't include controllers. Lastly I would like to say that the Dreamcast is not region free (This is the NTSC-U version.) Thank you for viewing my listing! :)
